* Well tonight I went and saw “Last Days” with Andrea, the new Gus Van Sant movie loosely based on the life of Kurt Cobain. It was good (I love GVS movies anyway) but it also triggered lots of introspection on the nature of being a performer and artist. It’s no spoiler to reveal that the main character sort of spirals out of control (if he was ever in control) and degenerates into an incoherent mess.
* So what to do after seeing a movie like that? Why, embrace my degenerate rock star side and go raise hell in Hollywood! A pound of blue eyeshadow (plus an ounce of blue spandex) later, and I was on my motorcycle and off to one of the wilder clubs in town. Ahh, this is the life!
