Calpernia to Guest Host LA Club Night “Miss Kitty’s”
Well, kids, I’m going to be the guest host at Miss Kitty’s Parlour on Friday night, and next Friday too! Miss Kitty’s was one of the first clubs I found when I moved to Los Angeles about five years ago that really had the “freak show” meets “carnival of lost souls” vibe that I love so much. It has a very well-mixed straight and gay client√ ®le, hoppin music and wild shows, plus some crazy contests where you can win free drinks, gifts from “The Pleasure Chest” or other varying prizes.
I’ve been in several cabaret, burlesque and theatrical shows with “The Filthy Family”, as the crew there is known (including my turn as the Queen of Diamonds), but this will be my first hosting gig. Let’s hope this becomes a regular thing, because I love that kind of thing. Any excuse to get on stage, ha ha!

I like how Calpernia can totally become a DIVA whenever she gets on a stage!
I think it’s cool how Calpernia can become a very different
person from her usual humble self whenever she performs in front of a crowd.
But, I do prefer the sweet, modest and sort of shy everyday version of Calpernia to the glamorous and sometimes wild stage diva version of Calpernia!
