Calpernia’s Touring Schedule for March, April and May
* Wow, I have some major traveling coming up in the next two months! In addition to four speaking engagements, in Chicago, Colorado, Kentucky and Clarksville, I’ve booked two weekends at Play in Nashville in my showgirl incarnation. The original Calpernia Addams was quite exotic, before I reigned all that in to become the more subtle Hollywood-ready ingenue you know and love today. Click “More” below for a full schedule of my upcoming appearances.
March 31st-April 2nd: Eastern Kentucky University “Come Together Kentucky” conference keynote speaker
April 5th-7th: University of Colorado’s TRANSforming Gender:Sexualities, Cultures and Identities In and Out of the Academy keynote speaker with Andrea
April 21st-23rd: Calpernia Addams and Momma’s Showgirl Tour of the South: Birmingham, Alabama
April 28th-29th: Calpernia Addams and Momma perform at Play in Nashville, TN
May 18th: Northwestern University’s Rainbow Week: Calpernia and Andrea to deliver keynote address
May 20th: Clarksville, TN Pride Celebration: Calpernia to deliver keynote address
May 20th (night): Calpernia Addams to perform at Play in Nashville, TN
June 10th: Calpernia to present at GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco
* That’s all I can think of for now, so mark your calendars and if you’re in any of those cities, come out and support us!

Hi Calpernia,
Does sound like you’ll be quite busy; glad to hear it. Any plans to come to New England; Boston specifically? As James Taylor begged, “Please come to Boston”. If you need a reason, contact the Ford Hall Forum about being a speaker/presenter; I’d be interested in hearing what you have to say and, I suspect, there are many others.

Congratulations on being so in demand.

Oops sorry, Dave Loggins not James Taylor. No wonder you haven’t come to Boston.

I wish I could get an invite to the GLAAD media awards… that is the closest you are getting to Sacramento. The Showgirl tour sounds like it will be so much fun! Congratulations and continued success.

Hey you… again!
So, I was kinda watching the Glaad awards thingy on Logo and playing on the computer… well, I wasn’t really paying attention, but I heard “TransAmerica” and I turned and looked and guess who I saw? YOU!
I was like, “Honey, come here!!! Cali’s on TV!”
LOL
I’m such a dork, I know… But I miss you terribly!
I know we didn’t get to become good friends while you were here, but I really do think of you as a friend, and an inspiration!
Anyway, something else I meant to put in my comment the other day… So, I’ve been watching Charmed re-runs and they just recently got to where the replacement sister, Paige (Rose McGowen), has come on… And the more I watch her, the more I began to think that you really look alot alike. I don’t know what it is, but she just really reminds me of you.
Just thought I’d share!

P.S> I can’t wait to see you when you come into town!

YAY!!! I'm so excited that you're coming to Nashville! And, how 'bout. . . every time The Princess talks about you coming here, she says, "For those of you who aren't old enough to have seen Calpernia, she taught Sara everything she knows!" Haha!!! Anyways, I can't wait to see ya!

Calpernia,
Hi, I’m the Treasurer for Clarksville Pride and I just have to say that my partner and myself can’t wait to see you at Pride in Clarksville on May 20th. You are such an inspiration not only to those in the GLBT community, but to the human race. You are an amazing woman that I can’t wait to have the pleasure of seeing at Pride. Have a wonderful day.

Thanks for all the work your doing. You could be lying around the pool somewhere, or playing in Tahiti, and maybe you do, but at least your out there, doing something, being seen, talking to people, unlike a lot of rich mainstream movie actors. You are admired and again, thank you.
