Recently rediscovered lost audio from KPFK’s IMRU interview by George Takei and Rita Gonzales on February 20, 2006:
OMG, I got to meet George Takei (Star Trek’s “Mr. Sulu”) yesterday and discuss our work and the whole trans actress thing! Andrea and I participated in the KPFK Winter Pledge Drive to help the station raise money, and George was celebrity co-host of our segment. He was incredibly nice and professional, and what a voice! So resonant and deep!

I gave a lecture at SJSU in March 2010 and also put on a show to raise money for transwomen with HIV/AIDS. This is an interview by SJSU student reporters and A/V pros Salman Haqqi, Anna-Maria Kostovska. Photos by Michelle Gachet, Salman Haqqi & Anna-Maria Kistovska
