Calling all fans of showgirls and drag dollies! I have begun working with the multitalented Legendary (Bingo) creator Jeffrey Bowman and West Hollywood’s (in)famous restaurant/performance space Hamburger Mary’s to put together an all-new dream team of four top quality drag and showgirl entertainers in a new stage show called “Calpernia Addams Presents: UNREAL”!To the delight of gay Cal-pals (and the horror of a few hardcore trans activists LOL), I’m not just a television personality or activist — I also have years of experience as a top-billed pageant-winning showgirl! I laid aside the duct tape many years ago, but if Cher, Bette, Madonna, Lady G and Britney can prance around for the gays in wigs and costumes without discounting their womanhood, then so can I dammit!
Every Friday beginning in November, as hostess, producer and show director I will be the (very young, MILF-ish) Mama Morton to my four “daughters”, possibly a VERY sexy adopted Gogo “son” and even an occasional special drag diva guest. Expect me to come and getcha in the audience thanks to my fancy wireless microphone, introduce the UNREAL goddesses and perform some of my own original live music and CalMixXxed cover songs (well, I promise not to lip synch any more than Britney does and it will always be my own voice!)
