Yay, the poster for “Transproofed” is finished (full res version up on the “Transproofed” site). We’ll be playing at Frameline 2009 in San Francisco and as part of a GLBT comedy program at the prestigious Director’s Guild in Hollywood for OutFest 2009. Here’s the official word:
Deep Stealth Productions’ new comedy “Transproofed” will screen this summer in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The film is about transgender dating and disclosure. Deep Stealth plans to make it available for rent or purchase around the time it premieres.

“Transproofed” Accepted into Frameline and OutFest 2009!
May 6th
Hooray! Our new short comedy “Transproofed” has been accepted to the San Francisco Frameline Film Festival (June 18-28, 2009) and now Hollywood’s OutFest Film Festival (July 9-19, 2009) as well. Look for me and Andrea James (and hopefully the gorgeous Joel Lambert!) at showings during both festivals. I’ll post the actual day and location of the showing when I get them. As of now, “Transproofed” will be playing in the “Trans Shorts” program at the Victoria in San Francisco’s Frameline Film Fest.

I had the great fortune to be on “What’s Your Problem” with the super hot Cathy DeBuono the other day, and the video is now available for watchin’ on shewired.com! Devoted Cal-pals may remember that I was on “What’s Your Problem” in February 2008, watchable here.
We talked about “Transproofed“, laughed a lot and then answered some mail concerning various and sundry problems in the lives of viewers.

Yay, our movie Transproofed’s IMDB page is up! It’s always satisfying to go from the early stages of writing and pre-production to having everything done, on IMDB and ready for festival submissions. Fingers crossed for all the cool festivals, now! I love going to festivals, dressing up in my old Hollywood rags, showing off the movie and then hitting the cocktail lounges. Woo hoo!

OH MY GOD! Musical Cal-pal Matthew McPeck has delivered an AWESOME pop/club remix of Next!, my new song from the Transproofed soundtrack. Is it vain to call a remix of one’s own song “awesome”? Well just know that I’m complimenting his ability to add so much fun and coolness to my little tune when I say that.
