Southern Thanksgiving Dinner
The turkey
Roast turkey brushed in olive oil, with garlic and onions tucked under the skin and cornbread rosemary dressing stuffed inside. The drippins’ were used to make gravy with more onions and garlic. Sides were Velveeta macaroni and cheese, sweet yeast rolls with butter and baked sweet potato with butter and brown sugar. I forgot to make cornbread and buy cranberry sauce, arrrgh!!!! Of course, you saw the dessert already: Magic Cookie Bars!
