Well, I was very flattered to have my little video for the Jer Ber Jones Mix of “Stunning” added to the LogoOnline “Transamerican Love Story” video page! Logo is owned by MTV, so in a way I’ve now had my first music video on MTV! Ha ha, who would have ever EVER EVAR thought! My first single has been classified as “Parental Advisory” worthy by iTunes and Amazon, so I actually had to bleep out a curse word! I’m edgy, ha ha!

Calpernia Goes to Tori Spelling’s Party & Gets Mentioned on E! Online
So last night I went to Tori Spelling’s book release cocktail party at Kitson… “Kitson” is to “celebrities” as “Hot Topic” is to “Goths”. You can go there and buy VERY EXPENSIVE clothes and accessories with the particular coolness of your chosen clique already built in. I’m not knocking it… there were tons of cool looking things in the store, I just can’t afford them. A trip to Goodwill is still a bit of an intoxicating splurge for me right now.
Tori’s show, ”Tori & Dean Inn Love”, is made by World of Wonder, who (as you may know) also make ”Transamerican Love Story”. I did the Pink Carpet (which Tori prefers to a Red Carpet) right behind Tori, which is the worst place to do Carpet… behind the star of the party. Or is it the best? The paprazzi and photogs are all whipped up into a frenzy over the star, but I can’t decide whether this ensures that their enthusiasm spills over onto me, or whether I just get ignored. Which is pretty much Ok with me. I always feel like a total fool on red carpets, because people “sort of” know who I am but I have to remind them sometimes, which feels silly. I figure, if they have to ask then I’m probably not important enough to be photographed… but then again, how will I ever become known more if I don’t get myself out there. It just feels silly, but I must admit—kind of thrilling, too. The flashes were unusually numerous and bright this time, and I actually felt a little disoriented for a second by them. It’s like staring directly into 50 super-bright strobe lights for several seconds while the people behind them shout at you. If I were even the slightest bit epileptic, I’d be toast.
The party was chic-ly small, just big enough to fit into the courtyard of Kitson. Perez Hilton and Bobby Trendy were there, along with lots of “industry people”, which means agents, producers, directors and other “behind the camera” folks. Tori’s book has some less-than-flattering anecdotes about her family, which led E! Online to speculate on this being the reason for the absence of family members (outside her husband and baby). But then E! Online actually mentioned little old me in “celebrity bold type” along side a genuine Brady!
Hardly surprising then that these ladies weren’t on hand to help Tori celebrate the release of the book last night at L.A.’s Kitson boutique. Instead, fellow reality-TV stars Kim Kardashian, Adrianne Curry, Christopher Knight and Calpernia Addams attended. Also there were her second husband, Dean McDermott, their son, Liam, and dog, Mimi LaRue dressed in a pink Little Lily dress.
Of course, the dog and a sex tape star were also bolded, so I’m not getting all stuck up about it, ha ha.
They had really delicious martinis ("Tori-tinies"—please don’t ever name a drink after me unless it’s some kind of straight unmixed liquor) and pink cupcakes and M&M’s with “Tori” printed on them. I gorged, of course. It was fun! Ahh, another night in Hollywood…

Transameriblog by Shawn
Categories: Diary • Actress • Transamerican Love Story • In Print • MentionsHey kids, don’t miss Transamerican Love Story’s Shawn as he blogs about the show on “Transameriblog”. So far, he’s actually nice to me in the blog despite being made to wear a harem outfit and skimpy bathing suit, ha ha! Now that’s a gentleman.
Well, I’m on TMZ.com again, and this time it’s a post aimed directly at me, rather than one just catching me as part of a group. Aside from the always-tiresome “Used to be a man!” tagline, and the insulting context of a gender origins guessing game, they were surprisingly gentle with me and even filed me under “beauty” and “hot bodies”. Yay(?)

Ha ha, blogger Kenneth in the 212 referenced me in a subtle slam on Hilary Swank today, in his review of “P.S. I Love You”. But I don’t mind… I can take a joke, and I wish I could work at their level. I went out to a bar in New York back in 2003 with a group of about 15 people, which included Gina. She was stunning in person, very sexy and thin.
