Hey kids, I’m going to be appearing at Las Vegas’ Pride celebration over May 2nd & 3rd, 2008. Anyone in the Vegas area or from elsewhere going to be there? I’m supposed to be riding in a red convertible, hopefully blasting ”Stunning”, ha ha! I know I’m stunned! Leave a Comment Comments
Now what's a sweet wholesome girl like you gonna do in Vegas? Have you ever seen Big Elvis who does a show at Bill's Gamblin' Hall on the strip? I think he's the worlds fattest Elvis impersonator, but he has this amazing voice!

I hope Calpernia gets to be in the West Hollywood GLBT Parade this year!
(Jim Howley mentioned in his recent interview on the Trans-Ponder podcast that he and Calpernia are trying to get into the parade this year!) I would definitely go out to West Hollywood to see the parade if Calpernia and Jim were in it! on 04/25 at 08:18 AM

I prefere the pride festival held every june in Bryant Park. For those of you not familiar with the name, it's located in Manhattan N.Y. just behind the Library. One week before the parade.

Calpernia -- So happy to hear that you'll be visiting Vegas ("the" entertainment capital of the world) for the Gay Pride celebration. I work for Cox Communications (our cable system hosts LOGO on our channel lineup!) and I'm actually coordinating our company's booth at the Festival on May 3. YOUR appearance will certianly add a wonderful element to the event -- Cox and LOGO are so pleased that you will be a big part of the events' success! I'm also producing signs to help promote your meet-&-greet at the Festival. The LOGO represetative is coordinating the Parade elements. Like the festival, the parade is typically a BLAST. Its a night-parade filled with lots of light-up/glow-in-the-dark goodies! Plus, this year's parade will coincide with a very popular event called First Fridays (where local Artisans come together each month and celebrate culture and artistic lifestyles!)
