In London, a car from the film fest picked me up and took me to my hotel. It was a nice, cozy little place within walking distance of Oxford Circus (which is a Neighborhood area full of street performers, restaurants and shops, not a circus). I’ve been terribly tired this whole trip, having just come back from my Ohio trip and just generally being easily exhausted. I got settled in and prepared my things to start getting prettified for a possible night out. I plugged in my new European voltage adaptor/converter and plugged into that my #1 essential beauty item: my $140 hair straightening iron (a gift from Transamerican Love Story). It didn’t come on. Suffice it to say, they’ll be getting a lot of chignons, buns and braids from me on this trip, ha ha. Leave a Comment
