* Today during a cookout we discovered the most darling little baby skunks in our yard! It looks like their mom may have been killed, so I wonder what will become of them? They are each about the size of a jumbo hamburger bun.

Is there a wildlife sanctuary they can be taken to? Don't know how long they'd last without their mother.

The baby skunks are cute … but do baby skunks still have the capability to release their stench upon the world? Haha

On an aside, I picked up A Soldier’s Girl yesternight on DVD and enjoyed the film immensely. It is a tragic and sad story that needed to be told. I admire you Calpernia and all that you have accomplished. Keep up the great work in the future.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Skunks are good survivors; short of getting hit by a car I'd fancy its chances as "better than average" 8)
