Sundance 3 & 4

* Im sorry I havent updated much in the last few days… you’ll understand why.
* Day 3 and 4 were pretty uneventful… Andrea and I saw tons of short films and a few features and we’re learning so much about what kinds of films get accepted, what the standards are for film quality and content, etc etc. We met several filmmakers, gave out our cards and generally enjoyed ourselves. I havent been able to take alot of pictures because I only have my mini-dv camera (that also takes stills), and its considered very uncool to carry it around and take pictures of all the film-industry people. We have snuck a few pix, which I will put up later.

dear cal,

i have just come home from seeing your film at the festival, and i have to thank you again for sharing your story. i spoke with you briefly after the film, gave you a hug, and thanked you for the bravery you've shown in allowing this story to be told (i was the one with the very short brown spikey hair).

for local utahans, the sundance film festival is oftentimes very superficial; about seeing already-celebrities on film and on the streets. tonight, it was about reforming the mindset of the world to accept love in all of it's most beautiful forms.

thank you again for touching my heart and opening my eyes in such a magnificent way. you are beautiful, my dear.
