* Today we got up early and saw 4 different screenings… 3 of them were collections of short films, which were what we really wanted to see because we are writing a screenplay for our own short film. They were all over the place… each of the 3 screenings had 10 or so short films in it. Most all were really incredible. I have always loved short films because they give creative people the opportunity to put things out there that are outside the usual. Today we really saw alot of real “industry” people… even a few examples of the kind of women who inspired me to take the name Evangelique Von Faustenberg VII… you can probably imagine what they look like. Mostly though Ive seen alot of cool, artistic looking people. Lots of tall, cute, intense young men. sigh!

Hi Calpernia and Andrea,
It sounds like the heart of the festival, the independent film screening is a treat for you both.. My favorite channel on cable is the Independent Film Channel, showing the offbeat, not necessarily commercial but entertaining and usually original. Regarding the mainstream film THE DEER HUNTER.. It is one of my favorite films, but has nothing to do with the Kentucky backwoods. If fact, much of it was filmed in Cleveland, Ohio and in the Rockies. Calpernia, did you have some other film in mind, perhaps DELIVERANCE? Please keep those journal entries coming as it is fun to experience your adventurers vicariously..Also, how about some photos... Not necessarily of you but of the Sundance Festival and some of the glitterati..something in the order of PEOPLE and US magazine-quality photos! Also, is it cold and do you have snow? Are you skiing this weekend? The Winter Olympics venues are not that far away! Tscheuss, A.A. on 01/18 at 02:39 PM

I know it's a pain, but I was tired of going through and deleting a hundred fake entries with links on "0nline p0ker" Grrr! * |
