How horrible that news segment was! I emailed all the people that you listed and let them know how unfair and disrespectful they were to the transgender community. I also attached to the email a copy of “Our Trans Children” that I downloaded from the PFLAG website, just in case they needed more information about trangender issues. (They obviously need to be educated!)
Seeing something like this on tv just makes me angry and sad. I have an 8 year old transkid in my family and it breaks my heart to know that she will have to face ignorant people like that in her life.
Her parents and we as family must remind her everyday that there’s nothing wrong with her, it’s society that has the problem!
That was just mean-spirited of them! It’s people like that who reinforce the poor attitudes of the already ignorant types out there.
Wow, I had heard on your youtube blog how they were bashing, but hadn’t actually seen the report. Ironically, isn’t Ian Drew a homosexual? o.O (If he’s not, he’s sure fooling a lot of people with the lisping, fluttering of his eyelashes etc.)
Honestly though, this is why I don’t watch Fox News. I wouldn’t be surprised if they bashed the gay marriage ruling made in June too.
