London Day 4 - Beautiful Daughters Screens

April 4th, 2008

Today “Beautiful Daughters” screens on one of the screens at the National Theatre here in London, as part of the London International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. I’m excited for everyone to get to see it. It feels like a lifetime has passed since Andrea and I put on our V Day LA event back in 2004, and seeing myself on screen I am stricken by how much I’ve changed. The audience loved the film, and people have been raving about it ever since the showing. Apparently, it is nearly impossible to find in Europe, but I told them it can be watched in its entirety on logoonline.com: Beautiful Daughters on LogoOnline.com

Afterward, there was an event sponsored by Transfabulous, attended by trans folk of all kinds, with free booze and cake. I met lots of interesting people, such as young Asian FTM guys from Paris and the Netherlands, and transwomen who work as magicians and comediennes and more.
