Wow, I love when things like this come together! As the inner circle of Platinum-level Cal-pals know, I am an instructional film fanatic… I LOVE so-called “hygiene films” from the 50′s-80′s. They’re the movies shown in classrooms to educate kids on “social hygiene” (meaning manners, lifestyle, sexuality, etc… not just cleanliness). Well, one evening I got ahold of “Ghost Rider”, which happened to be a film I actually saw in junior high school, and I decided to edit myself into it for a laugh. I got a note from Kevin Doug several months ago, but today he left a reply on my YouTube video. Joy!
I was thrilled and surprised to hear from the (other) star of “Ghost Rider”, Doug Edmunds, when he somehow heard about my little bizarro world take on his movie. Doug is all grown up now, and has a cool band called “The Stars Explode”, which you can hear on MySpace via the link below. He is also on YouTube now, so I hope we’ll be seeing some videos from him soon. His links are below, along with a photo of “Kevin” now. Pretty hot, actually! Too bad he’s married, although I still think “Tracy” would be a bit too much for him to handle, ha ha.
