CAKES!!!

* Well, another year older… but at least I can finally drink legally now! This time last year, it was the night before our huge V-Day LA event, and anticipation was running high. Now we’re on the brink of finishing the movie about it all, and shooting our own short film.

* This year, some wonderful friends got together and we had a marvellous, relaxed evening of food, fun and more food to celebrate the Grim Reaper’s ever-nearing footsteps. Strawberry Shortcake baked me an excellent chocolate cake with buttercream frosting, and K brought over an enormous tray of barbequed pork, chicken and sausage. A & S brought libations, and Wheelie brought that indefinable air of debauchery that only he can muster. A good time was had by all.
