I was saddened to hear that you have not. I hope your memories remain clear and that you find happiness in a relationship again. I wanted to go up to give you a hug, but realized that might be selfish on my part---I needed a hug after the film. It has stayed with me for days. As a gay man, I have always thought I was very aware of the price of love, but the story of you and Barry was such a kick in the gut---something so wonderful destroyed because that is all some humans do. Being spiritual helps me process this. I wish you and yours much joy and happiness. It was a gift being in the presence of your strength and positive energy. What a wonderfully educational time this must be for you. The last few days have certainly been exciting, exhilierating and inspirational for you. I am envious that you get to experience so much but I do realize that much of it has to do with a very negative time in your life. Feel fortunate for what you get to see in life and learn from it because you are certainly very lucky indeed. About a year ago, I caught the tail end of Soldier's Girl. I was glued to the TV. But up until a few weeks ago, I could not remember the name of the movie. I finally figure out monthis down the road and I recently went out and purchased it. I fell absolutely in love with it. I have a few friends who are show girls and they are so interesting and amazing, so I guess that is one reason why I could relate to SG. You are awesome Calpernia!! Keep it up girl !
