Knife Life
* Well, everyone, I am finally going to deal with some appearance issues that have caused me grief and worry for quite a long time. Despite having been very lucky in many ways with my journey to be the person I am today, I nonetheless have to deal with aspects of my bone structure and appearance resulting from the fact that I was poisoned by a surge of testosterone beginning in puberty which lasted for almost ten years. On January 26th at 7:00 am, I am going to have some work done by Dr.’s Alter and Lee, two prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeons. My experience will be documented for E! Television as part of their “Dr 90210″ show.
* Now before anyone says things like, “You look fine as you are!”, let me say that this is a choice I have made for myself, for my own reasons., and the best thing anyone could say to me is simply, “Good luck!”
* I am excited, nervous and really just want to get the surgery and recovery over with so I can enjoy life without carrying the burden of signs from one of the most difficult eras in my past. When I am injured I tend to be like a wounded animal and just withdraw until I feel better, but I will try to keep up with my diary and let everyone know how I’m doing. I was a good medic, but a terrible patient! Ha ha

Hi Calpernia!!!
Allie here from NYC. I met you very briefly at the V-Day afterparty. I was the one who gave you the little angel.
Anyway, remember me or not, I wanted to say GOOD FOR YOU!!! BEST WISHES!!! SPEEDY RECOVERY!!! (p.s. no “luck” needed).
And, I do think you “are” beautiful… and I think that you “were” beautiful.. and that you “will” be beautiful!!!

I’ve debated commenting here for quite some time. I know you musn’t have time to check all messages, but yet… nows as good a time as any. I just don’t want to come across as a starry eyed “UUU” fan. That being stated; we now return you to your regularly scheduled commenting:
I am such a fan of, “If you don’t like it, fix it!”
Too bad in my case I can’t afford it, transition sucks, but it has to be done…
Good Luck.
I don’t know if you view yourself as a role model, but let me say (type as the case were), you have proven a positive & amazing influence to me.
Hopefully NOT Trite,
Leia
