I do so hope you still believe in love somewhere in your heart. I confess, I don't know you, and I DO have half a bottle of champagne in me right now (okay, not QUITE that much), my husband is on the other side of the country and I'm sadly sitting here drinking by myself…but I just finished watching Soldier's Girl and crying my eyes out. I have a silly, pathetic school-girl crush on Lee Pace and was curious about this movie – I am so glad to have see it! I hope you feel that he did you proud. You are such a beautiful person from what I have just seen and what I see here on your site. You are a beautiful lovely person that I would be grateful to know. I wish you all the best – if I could only have done half of what you have done with your life thus far, I would be so happy! It also wouldn't be so bad to be half as lovely!

Oh my gosh, I just read that you got your name from a Shakespeare play. That is wonderful (what's even better is that you liked how it looked on the tombstone in the Addams Family movie!) I have always loved the name Ophelia myself – I once met a woman named Ophelia Blue. Can you imagine? It was her honest to goodness birth name. Such a marvelous name. I can see myself taking a name off of a tombstone – I'm an amateur photographer and my favorite place to go is Laurel Hill in Philadelphia. Macabe I suppose (and not the best argument for me NOT to be a weirdo), but it has the most beautiful statuary, the most stunning and majestic angels. It really is a beautiful place. And the words of love I see there! I'm a hopeless romantic. I've had my heart ripped out and crushed before, my life destroyed once, but I can't help still falling, you know?

I think I'm really quite taken with you because you remind me a little of Marilyn Monroe, such a shy and tender heart who is an unstoppable force in the limelight but just really yearns for a sense of normalcy in a world that wants the opposite from her. My favorite movie is "Some Like it Hot" and every time I see her I just want to wrap her up and protect her, you know? I feel so bad for that poor woman, my heart just breaks.
