My Number is Up
* Good news, in a creepy kinda way. I got my first official SAG television role! Bad news: I am to play a rape victim on the new crime drama “Numbers”.
* “Numbers” is a show about a crime-solving MIT mathemetician. I’m just going to be photographed, so you’ll probably have a hard time seeing me at all in the episode. You know those scenes in which a cop scans over crime-scene photos? It will most likely be like that, with me as the victim in the snapshots. So if you have a squeamish stomach and don’t want to see your poor pal Calpy all battered up, you might not want to tune in. But I hope you will, anyway!
* I shoot this coming Thursday, so I’ll write more then.

Vicki Rene, she sure is a nice gal. I was Vanity Club's VC-258 before I left being a State Trooper in Colorado (a month after Barry's unfortunate passing) under pressure for my behavior ("actions unbecoming of an officer"). I was attempting transition on-the-job with low-profile assistance from some others in the dept., but word got out and I was left with little choice other than to wonder if I would end up a casualty to ignorance and indifference by fellow troopers, or to leave the agency and career that I loved. I'm now in Arizona, in stealth in Arizona. I loved the movie, "Soldier's Girl", which I ended up purchasing for my library. I loved the performances and script, and the interviews, everything. I am so very sorry for your loss, but am encouraged by your triumphs and accomplishments. You are an inspiration to many of us. By the way, I'm also a soldier's girl. Take care and much continued success. Thank you for sharing your private life with the world, and for your support for "the community". I've been saving little by little for SRS since 1998 (when 28 years old). I work at Wal-Mart, which pays next to nothing, and I've been homeless for much of the two years I've been there, though things are looking up. I now have an apartment, small, bad area, but it's a roof and not as bad as living in the desert under a tarp and tent again. My marriage fell apart 4 years after I went full-time, but I've found a way to move on with my life…she isn't doing so well though. What can I say?!?! I'm moving on and getting better, closer to achieving my dream. Well, take care, Calpy. Bye. Oh, I just celebrated my 34th birthday on Sept. 17th — I feel 21 however.

Oooh today is the day of your shoot! Just wanted to say good luck with that and “break a leg!”
I don’t think I’ve heard/seen that show before, but I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled. It was great talking with you the other day, you and Andrea are extremely incredible. Anyhow, better get back to finishing up my work for the night (finished a paper, studied for my two exams). I hope your shoot goes well and will be looking forward to reading all about it — don’t forget pics!!!!
