New Calpernia Music Video: “Next!” from the Movie “Transproofed”
Hey kids! After over a month of wrangling with iTunes to get my music back up, it’s finally done. Check out my tracks on iTunes here, or use the links in the sidebar to find it on Amazon or other places. Every 99 ¬ ¢ helps me buy more liquor and pop tarts… you didn’t think this body came without a special diet, did you?
“Next!” is the main song from “Transproofed“, written and performed by me, and the movie also features more original music by both me and director/co-star Andrea James.
Here is the debut of the music video for the Matthew McPeck Pop remix of “Next!”, also directed by Andrea James. This music video will be part of the upcoming mega-DVD we’re releasing with “Transproofed” itself, a commentary track by Andrea and me, an animated sotryboard featurette, plus the trailers for “Transproofed” and our 2008 festival-favorite “Casting Pearls”.

Well you’ve done again. You continue to astound me with your thoughtful versatility, this time with your new “Next” video. It crackles with energy on the screen and is popping with a striking style all its own. I mean it
doesn’t grab your attention it seizes hold of it and doesn’t let go. It certainly punched a big hole in what had been an oh-hum day for me so I thank you for that.
