Branwen Somatik’s engineering credentials read like a “who’s who” of producers and musicians from all round the world, from 4hero, Talvin Singh, Lady Miss Kier, Terry Callier, Future Sound of London, and Bembe Segue to Madonna, Asha Bhosle, Ultra Naté, and Master Musicians of Jajouka.

As I mentioned to her, I can see it playing over a scene where the camera pans across a dark international underground club full of opium addicts, and lands on me as a troubled stripper with a heart of gold, grinding to earn enough money to buy my grandmother an illegal Czechoslovakian kidney transplant.

As mentioned in this earlier post, I performed at a fundraiser for a local adopted kindergarten class as celebrity guest of the CSULB chapter of Delta Lambda Phi.
