I wanted to send a special thank you out to Richard Bowman, the fabulous Beverly Hills designer who created the stunning black gown I wore to the 2008 GLAAD Media Awards. He wrote to me personally and offered to outfit me for the event. I went to his shop on Beverly Blvd and had a GREAT time trying on lots of custom-made gowns until we all settled on this black number. THANK YOU Richard!

Calpernia, that dress looked absolutely stunning! (Of course everything you wear always looks stunning!) Richard Bowman is definitely a very talented designer!

(I also think the dress that Andrea wore to the GLAAD Awards also looked great!)

OMG !!! That is just so awesome. I’m as jealous as hell Callie ! OMG ! It’s about damn time they got clued in and started giving you dresses. No one could wear that like you. Beautiful.

Aww thank y’all! Richard and Javier are great, and they’ll be making me another dress that will hopefully be used in our upcoming short film. Shazam, I do like that black dress! “Tight” is my favorite style, ha ha.

Aww thanks, hon! I didn’t realize it at that moment, but this is probably the best I’ve looked in a long time. Ahh makeup, extensions and designer gowns coupled with anorexia! What would I do without you all!
