* Well today I went in for a marathon 12.5 hour session of body doubling again for “Abby” on NCIS (see link above for original story). It’s soooooooo relaxed, doing that. Me and the other body doubles just chill on a giant, super comfy couch for hours and hours while they set up everything needed for the closeups, and then we hop into costume and do the tight shots in rapid fire. I spent most of the time making notes for the monologues I’m going to do for an audition I have coming up, and reading the manual to my bike. I’m always the only girl in the building, and the other guys are doubling for older military type characters, so they’re all stuffy looking and in suits or uniforms. But as Abby, they handed me my wardrobe and it was a babydoll T with skull & crossbones, red and black striped fingerless wrist length gloves with metal rings and studs, and two black leather studded chokers. Ha!

* This episode starts with some college kids doing an initiation. In all the closeups in the scene where Abby is IM’ing the villan, starting with “Hello Creepy Voice”, those are my hands. Watch me act up a storm as Abby’s hands! Wait a minute… someone’s knocking at my door… Oh, it’s an Emmy for best actress playing someone’s hands! Gotta go, kids! Fame awaits…
